Golf
For golfers there is a wide selection of courses and two great offers as a further enticement. The Three Club Golf Pass which costs €150 provides access to Waterford Castle, Faithlegg and Mount Juliet. The Crystal County Golf Circuit gives you four green fees for the price of three from any of the participating golf clubs which includes: Carrick-on-Suir Golf Club, Dungarvan Golf Club, Gold Coast Golf Club, Faithlegg Golf Club, Tramore Golf Club, Waterford Castle Golf Club, Waterford Golf Club, West Waterford Golf Club and Williamstown Golf Club. There are a number of walks in the Comeragh Mountains of varying degrees of difficulties or if you would like to take the difficulty out of planning a walk, there are a number of different companies that offer guided mountain walks. Prices include transport from Waterford City, equipment and meals. For those with a real interest in walking, the annual Nire Valley Walking Festival may be of interest. This a nnual walking festival in the scenic Nire Valley offers a weekend of spectacular walking, great talking and a feast of traditional music, singing and dancing in the Nire Valley.
